1) Describe your very first times tied up both off camera and on camera?
My first time being tied up by another person was when I was 15 years old. I had talked a boyfriend into role playing out some “Emma Peel, John Steed” role play. I loved the TV show Avengers so we played out a clumsy scene out in a barn that was at best an exercise in futility. The guy had no idea how to tie me and was a bit confused that I wanted it to get sexual. Prior to that I used to try a lot of self bondage watching shows like the Avengers.
As for on camera, that was back in 1996 or 97. We did pictures for Archway to Monica. JB Roper was the first person to actually tie me up correctly LOL... My first paid shoot was for a site called gagged.com and it was by Lord Centurion.
2) What was it about your work that you think made you so popular with your fans?
That’s a tough one. I think being one of the first models helped. I also used to spend a lot of time in chat rooms as well. Plus. unlike today there were so few of us doing the modeling and we all enjoyed the bondage as well. So choices were much slimmer then today LOL.
3) Did you enjoy the pain elements that factor into some aspects of bondage modeling? And, if so, why?
That’s a complicated question. I like some pain but it’s not random and I like it only from female doms. I have no idea why really but I get very turned on by powerful female doms. But I do enjoy strict bondage as well. Dizdat and Jim Hunter have, off the top of my head, tied me up the tightest.
4) Was your family supportive of your bondage modeling?
Outside of my husband, who has always understood it, no one else in my family knows. They are pretty conservative types and I’ve never felt the need to share this with them. It’s a special part of my life but not a part I share outside our community.
5) What did bondage modeling teach you about yourself and other people?
This is the hardest question you asked LOL. I am not sure how to answer this. What it’s taught me about myself I have no idea. I do not feel like I am any different than I was. I’ve kept it a hobby, having never quit my day job. But I am not really sure what I have learned from it. As for others, that varies often good, some not so good. I would say the bulk of people involved in this are normal every day intelligent good people. If I have been taught anything by them, it would be to never judge a book by its cover. You cannot tell about people just by what you see. You need to take the time and effort to get to know them a little.
6) Were you very selective about with whom you worked? How did you decide who to model for or with?
Back when I was modeling it was pre Clips4sale. The choices were a lot less than they are today. I looked for first and foremost safety. If I heard rumors, etc. about a producer, I looked into it. I also looked for sites that looked fun. David Knight and Juliet Heart were among some of the best times I had shooting. I tried to get a job out their way so we could shoot more often LOL. I also really liked shooting for DR Darke’s Agents of Bound site. The subject matter was right up my alley plus I love pantyhose, so it was a great fit. So basically I looked for safe and fun. I was lucky in that I always found safety and usually had fun.
7) With the 50 Shades of Grey movie bringing bondage into the mainstream media, some people have commented that BDSM represents an abusive relationship? How would you respond to people who make statements like that?
I don’t. Unless you are in it, you have no idea. Those people generally speaking have already decided plus I never think movies help. I have not seen 50 Shades so I cannot comment on the movie itself. But I am a damsel in distress girl not BDSM. Those two are very different in my opinion.
8) Did you, at any time in your modeling career, ever feel exploited?
No, that was never an issue. I always felt in control. The people I shot with were always perfect gentlemen. The girls were always great fun for me as well.
9) What do you think are the best and worst aspects of the adult industry?
The people in it are both the best aspects and the worse. As this business has grown into a much larger business, it has attracted some bad people. But, at the same time they are few and far between. Some of my best friends have come from this business. It has grown into a business, not as community minded as it used to be. Most of the models I started out with are all gone as are many of the producers. It was so much fun being involved in the beginning. As the business has gotten bigger that has gone away a little.
10) How does the bondage modeling industry compare now to how it was when you began your career as a bondage model?
I should have read the entire interview first. I have kind of answered this already. But the basic change is the amount of models has grown. Now, many of the models we shoot do not necessarily like bondage, but they just do it for money. Back when I started, we didn’t even really call ourselves models let alone not like it. Early on I think we all loved it and craved the attention the camera provided us. I know for me personally the money was just to cover my costs not a source of a living. I just loved the adventure. That’s much different today. The models do this for a living. I also want to say I do not have a problem with it. If a girl can act, I am ok with it. I no longer ask about their personal interests and such.
11) Out of all the bondage shoots you've done, which was the most memorable? And which was the most fun? And please tell us why they were most memorable and fun.
Wow, there have been many. To name a few, I love public bondage. DR Darke tied Katie Jordan and me up in Times Square. We were nude under the big coats he put us in and we were tied up and gagged really good. We had on our heels and a long coat nothing else. Then he put us both on a leash and walked us through Times Square. People thought it was some kind of commercial so no one cared but that was a lot of fun. I don’t remember the scenario but it was fun. I was also tied to the gate of the guy that runs the WWE in Stanford CT. They tied and gagged me to the gate and rang the bell LOL no one ever answered but it was fun. Dizdat kidnaped me from an ATM once and tossed me into the trunk and sped off to a warehouse that was really fun as well. David Knight and Juliet Heart did some stuff with me in a military uniform that was also really fun those are my favorite all time pictures. I could go on but I wont LOL.
12) What is the kinkiest thing you've ever done off-camera?
LOL.... Kinkiest thing would have to be having sex in an M1 Abrams tank at Ft Riley Kansas back in
13) What advice do you have for models who hope to enjoy longevity in the bondage modeling industry?
This is tough. I think young models need to figure out what it is they want from all this. Many producers in the business push models to expand their limits. If the model wants to, then so be it. But if they don’t want to, they have to be able to control that and not get pushed into something they truly did not want to do. I have met so many girls over the years that talk about how they felt forced into doing something they didn’t want to do. So just be strong is all I tell them. Oh and I also tell them to learn to produce as well so they can have a life after modeling if they want to stay around this.
14) What else do you want your fans to know about you and your work?
I always had fun when I modeled. It was never a job or a task. I would come home from work sometimes on lunch and shoot a quick set of pictures just because I wanted to. No matter whether the pictures were good etc., I was always having fun.
