She woke up, caged, in a dark location just like many others, as the room run from the ceiling to the ground covered in small cages, each containing a young female of the species known as homo sapiens.
She lay naked on the ground of the cage that was designed like a capsule, there being soil on the bottom, plants surrounding the edges and the walls all being made out of thick, perfectly transparent plastic with holes near the top of the walls for oxygen. On the front of her cage was a label that read 'Experiment 595.'
At the back of the cage, there was a trough that held any food that would be deposited via a tap like pipe and beside it, was a water feeder, like like we tend to use for small pets like guinea pigs and rabbits...
the female didn't know any basic language, for they were bred as laboratory labs for experiments...basically she was a lab rat.
She didn't realise that she had a parasite inserted within her, it was only a seed and would need a lot of energy to grow before it could shred itself from it's unfortunate host. She couldn't remember anything before that day, but she didn't really have the need to start trying to remember anything.

As days began to pass, the female began to realise something was not right, something was moving inside her. She looked down at her belly as the moving stopped and placed her hand carefully on her belly, it moved!
As more days passed, small vine like things began to appear from her womanhood. When she noticed, she tried to grab them all and pull them out but suddenly felt a strong pain and noticed blood seeping out. The parasite had reacted defensively, and tried to bury itself deeply into the wall of her womb. She screamed in fear and didn't know what to do. The other females in the surrounding cages just watched her for a minute or two before going back to what they were doing, not paying much attention since it was coming a daily thing for another specimen to scream out in pain as each started to expose the vines.

The vines grew longer and longer everyday, but she didn't try to pull them out for she had learned her lesson. Soon they started trailing up her body and some even branched out into blooms. They would almost watch her as she sleep, ate and did her necessities.  As they grew thicker and stronger, some flowers even began to eat some of the kibble like food that was there for her, almost leaving her without food on some days.

Days went by as they just grew and grew, until one morning a shrilly scream woke up most of the experimental specimens. A neighboring female was being eaten alive by a mysterious plant that wasn't part of their usual environment. It was slowly ingesting the homo sapien into it's cavity, while specimens in the neighboring cages could only stare in horror and disgust. Once that female was completely and utterly gone, the plant burped in a content manner and seemed to relax. A flower stemming from the main cavity suddenly turned to face the specimen 595, who was staring at it from the other side of the clear cage wall. It leapt at her, as if to gobble her up too but struck with a loud thud against the cage wall and fell. She gasped in fear and panic. A flower from the vines coiled around her body seemed to turn up to look at her. Looking at that flower, she realised that it was exactly the same as the flower on the mysterious plant that had eaten up it's host in the other cage. In fear, she stopped eatting and drinking, staying as far away from the water and food in hopes that it would weaken the parasite within her.

The flowers seemed to weaken as she did. However, the vines began to stretch out and reached out for food and water. The parasite was returning to full strength quite rapidly, even as it's host was beginning to fade. Then, surprisingly, the parasite began to bring back kibble and water in which to feed. The host would struggle against the offerings as she would have rather be dead when the parasite finally decided to make a meal out of her. In her weakened state, she couldn't put up much of a fight...and surrendered to letting the parasite feed and hydrate her.

As the host unwillingly began to recover her strength, each vine began to disappear back into her womanhood and when she thought she was safe, she felt this strong pain as the vines reappeared, only more thicker and stronger as then before and wrapped themselves around her legs and hip as it pulled the rest of the plant out from her womanhood. She  screamed and struggled, but as the plant emerged, a large flower opened up and began to surround her. The vines began to guide her legs to the centre of the flower where it opened and began to pull her in.
By then most of the females had already disappeared and she had been one of the last still surviving. She weeped as she struggled to get away but already her waist was disappearing into the plant and the vines were forcing her down. A few smaller flowers were playfully sucking at her face until she disappeared inside the plant.

It was dark, smooth and wet. She was still struggling, trying to find a way of escape until she felt an arm surround her midrif and pull her suddenly backwards against the body that resembled a male homo sapien. She felt confused. It moved so that she felt surprised and placed her comfortable position. She wondered how this could be, was it really all part of her imagination? Or could it be that she was already dead and this was another realm? The male reached out and kissed her as he positioned her is a way he could seed her. She let out a mild protest as she was seeded, but all the vapors in the cavity were already taking effect as her mind began shutting off and moving into a dream state.

Out of all the experiments, that was the only one that produced more seeds and in which the host had not been digested.
Let's hope that future experiments would not use so many specimens in order to find one that actually would be compatible...
