Oh, you can resist if you want.  It amuses your master. Only by struggling against your bonds can you get an appreciation how firmly they hold you.  Perhaps after a while you will tire and then lay still without resistance.

Nice!  I second Montycrusto's sentiments.
But regarding your intro statement,  "I feel I ought to give something," I think you already give a lot by commenting in poetic ways on other people's work.  You grace other people's pages with your contributions.
And your assembling collections of what you feel is other people's best work is a big contribution.  It's an honor to have one's work included on your page.

Claire came to the old abandoned circus ground on a dare, curse the Truth or Dare trap and its blackmail. She knew the emails from her secret crush were too good to be true, and what was once the highlight of her day became embarrassing ammunition against her. Regardless, she approached what seemed to be a typical red and white circus tent that was torn in places and the colors had long faded.
