Airi and Mali: Prologue

It's Friday, Airi just got promoted, and decides to celebrate thanks to her new raise. Airi spends the whole afternoon at the shopping mall, she bought some new clothes, several games, and tons of food. Later Airi finds herself in a burger joint, buying herself dinner before leaving, and just as she was about to dig her face into her meal, Airi notices a girl entering the restaurant.

This girl was not only pretty, Airi recognized her from college, she received a masters degree in some career; Airi was eager to ask this girl out, but the two girls had barely even seen each other on campus, so it'd be hard to go up and say, "Hey! Remember me? I was in your peripheral vision once or twice during college! Wanna go on a date?". Airi was troubled as she tried developing ideas in how to introduce herself, but when she was walking towards the other girl, she left with her carry-out meal.

Airi freaks out because a break like on Mali's neck is very fatal, so thinking that her "murderer" was dead, Airi tries to drag the body into anything that could fit a body. And as Airi was dragging her, Mali fixes her own neck saying, "Ow!".

"Oh! You're ok!" Says Airi, she hugs Mali but is pushed as she found out that Airi was still standing in front of her. "Don't worry, you didn't see this coming, it's ok! The readers didn't either!" says Airi, Mali is confused to what she meant, but was asked to forget it, Airi explains how she isn't dead, "I'm… a zombie!" as Airi answers, the room stays quiet until Airi breaks it, "Ha! Just kidding! I'm actually immortal!".  Mali is surprised to see that a girl she's wanted to kill for a long time can't be killed because she's immortal like her.

As things settle, Airi tells Mali how she had fun the night before, and apologizes for being immortal. But then Mali comes up with an idea, "Oh boy! Deus Ex Machina!" Says a sarcastic Airi, Mali asks Airi if she would like to make an offer, "So Airi, if you don't tell anyone about this! I'll kill you as many times as you want!" and without a second thought, Airi shakes on it, but before that, Airi proposes, "I'll only agree if you let me kill you as well! Just to get even!". So then the two girls made a promise, one that may lead to several other stories to be written! Maybe add another character to spice things up!
