The Rogues.

Unique among the Prides, Pride Three works far more independently and is very unorthodox.  Its leadership and more than half of its composition consists of civilian "contractors" rather than military specialists.  TFL command allows Pride Three to operate as such as it gives them a leg-up on civilian operations to include liaisons to private military companies.

• Pride Leader: Specialist Julie "Amazon" Ellis. (Scotland) - Civilian Contractor.

Age: 31.
Family has always been important to Julie.  When her young Swiss cousin Elena was orphaned, Julie's father adopted her, and the two girls became very close.
Elena was recruited into COEM three years ago.  (Current status and whereabouts unknown.)  Julie joined them in an effort to find her, but was under no illusions about their murderous intent.  To salve her conscience for working with them, she helped those who did not belong there to desert, and sent as much intelligence as she could gather to UNATA.  She signed everything "Valiant", so she could prove it was from her should she be captured.
She first came to the attention of TFL eight months ago during a raid on a COEM safe-house in Rome.  During an attempt to capture an important COEM officer, Agent Michelle Durneve found the target being dangled out of a sixth story window by an angry interrogator.  During her debriefing, it was learned that Julie had infiltrated COEM in search of her missing sister, and had tracked her as far as she could before she attacked and interrogated several senior officers during the chaos caused by the Lioness raid.
Although she has no formal military training, her skills and dedication impressed TFL brass enough to recruit her into the newly reformed Pride Three as leader, while they find intel on Elena for her.
Her call-sign was originally inspired by Louisa Martinez, who referred to Jules as the "Merciful Amazon" during her interrogation, and was officially ratified by her closest friends, Cat Summers and P4's Evi DeGroot, who both found it hilarious...
While she feels only contempt and pity for the rank and file COEM operatives, she holds a special hatred, and has shown a murderous fury, toward the cowardly leaders who recruit young women and use them as weapons and shields while they themselves hide in the shadows.
She is convinced it's only a matter of time before she faces Elena as a COEM, and dreads what that day will bring.

• Anna Janssen (Netherlands) - COEM recruit / operative.  (Deceased)
  

Age: 24. (At time of death)
Little is known about this mysterious young woman, even Jules herself knew her only for a short time.  The lonely geek type, Anna quickly realised that joining COEM had been a terrible mistake.  A chance meeting with Julie Ellis during her infiltration of COEM gave her a chance to make good on her error, and she offered to help her spy on COEM operations.
Tragically, she was killed in action by Lioness Agent Michelle "Tammy" Durneve, who saw only an enemy in her.  This event caused tension between Jules and Michelle, and sparked a full brawl between them when the full details of her death came to light.  Although the two have since put aside their differences, it is unlikely the rift between them will ever fully close.
Anna was added to the Lioness roster at the request of several members of P3, and her remains are now interred at the Den's private plot at Arlington Military Cemetery.
To the Pride, she is a fallen sister, but to Jules, she was a friend and lover at a time when she needed one most, and her death will likely haunt her for some time to come.

• Procurement Specialist Rebecca "Cat" Summers (US) - Civilian Contractor.

Age: 23.
Born to a wealthy 'Old Money' family in Maryland, USA, Rebecca spent most of her formative years being educated in England (Boarding school and Oxford).  She returned to the States with tattoos, piercings and a grunge boyfriend.  None of these things went down well with her family, and after a heated argument, she was cut off from her inheritance.  The freeloading lover left soon afterward.
Rebecca disappeared for six months, returning to the states as a talented cat-burglar who stole from the circles her family lived in.  For a year she lived a life of parties, drugs and forgetfulness on her ill gotten gains until she was caught in a COEM attack in San Tropez.  During the chaos she took a gun from a dead police officer and killed three COEM soldiers before a Lioness squad found her.
It was through the actions and example of Julie Ellis, P4's Choi Ju-Min, and Agent Sandra Decker that she cleaned herself up, a kindness that she is deeply grateful for.  Ditto her recruitment into Pride Three by Jules, where she has finally found the acceptance, and sense of family, that she has always craved.
Cat hates to be reminded of her old life, shunning her given name and even her American accent.  She is also an unrepentant kleptomaniac, and though she never steals from her friends, she has a habit of picking pockets and locks to alleviate boredom.
She has also formed close friendships with the P4 "Virgins" Anna Reilly and Isabella Corduro, the teenage Lionesses being impressed by her flamboyant and generous nature.  The trio are unofficially known as "The ABC" among their peers, though at least one senior officer coined the term "Triple Threat" instead.

• Scout Sniper: CPL Monique "Bayou" Dupuis (US) - USMC, First Reconnaissance Battalion.

Age: 28.
Growing up poor in New Orleans was not a happy experience for Mona, nor does she speak of it.  Joining the military was a ticket out of the gutter for her, rather than a patriotic duty, nevertheless she excelled at scouting work, joining 1st Recon soon afterwards.
Shortly after her second tour of duty, Mona accused a junior officer of sexual assault.  The tribunal found no evidence, and she was essentially booted out to keep the unit intact.  Joining the Lionesses was an attempt to get as far away from the shame as she could, but her assignment to P3 was an insult, P3 at the time being little more than an attempt to humour Julie Ellis and other "troublemakers".
Sullen and mistrustful of her new squad-mates at first, Mona is proud that she helped turn P3 into a genuine unit to be taken seriously, and is grateful to have been given a second chance at a proud military career.
Mona has earned the respect of many of her peers, including her fellow sniper Bahoz "Vipera" Yasin of P4.  As Julie's second in command, she takes the welfare of her younger squad-mates very seriously.  Although she holds no personal grudge against COEM, she has been made painfully aware of their atrocities by the stories of her new comrades.

• Electronics: Specialist Louisa "Artoo" Martinez (Mexico) - Civilian contractor.
  

Age: 22.  (Approx)
Born and raised in a Mexican whorehouse, Louisa's life is a story of poverty and pain.  Despite this, she is surprisingly fond of her childhood memories, if only because her teenage years were so awful...
Though she has no formal education, she was taught to read and write by the older girls of the house, allowing a chance study of a computer magazine to open new doors in her future.  She soon discovered a natural talent for code breaking, particularly security systems.
At the age of sixteen or so, Louisa was sold to one of the Mexican drug Cartels in lieu of an unpaid debt.  The cartel brutalised her to the point that she blocked off her emotions in an effort to stay sane.  Though originally bought as a sex slave, her self taught hacking skills soon came to light, and she was used as a honey trap for the next five years, seducing potential threats to her owners and stealing sensitive information from their computers.  One day, during an unusually savage beating from her owner, she killed him with a piece of broken glass.  Rather than kill her, as she hoped they would, the cartel gave her to the COEM in an attempt to patch up a shaky deal.
The COEM were disgusted by the cartel's savagery, but were little kinder to her, as she was a pitiful, broken thing.  For the next few months she continued to spy on people for her new owners until one day, during a harsh training exercise, she miscarried a baby she did not even realise she had been carrying.  This trauma caused a full mental breakdown, and she could no longer block out the guilt and shame her life caused her, and when her handlers realised she could no longer maintain her cover stories, she was assigned to a bomb maker.
Realising that she could not bring herself to murder innocent people, Louisa once again tried to goad her owners into killing her, granting the peace she desperately craved.  This time she succeeded, but was rescued at the last moment and captured by Julie Ellis and Cat Summers.
Louisa spent the next week under interrogation and psycho evaluation at the UNATA station Jules was assigned to, where the two felt a bond forming between them, Jules felt a great swell of pity for this poor young soul who had suffered so much, and Louisa was grateful to be seen as a person again, and not just a thing to be used.
It was during the COEM raid on the station that her potential was truly understood, her selfless actions and willingness to die for the people she saw as her saviours impressed the Lionesses greatly, and rumours that she shouted down both Michelle Durneve and Yvette "Corday" Dubois, two of the scariest members of the Den, have equally impressed the more junior Lionesses.
Louisa is quiet and shy around those she doesn't know, but as her mental scars heal, she is becoming more and more animated and popular.  She is particularly close to Agent Natasha "Bolshoi" Zaytseva, due to mutual shyness, and a shared love for American fast foods...

• Medic: Szeregowy (Private) Ruta "Colossus" Czajkowski (Poland) - Wojska Ladowe (Land Forces)

Age: 25
Ruta's inspiration to be a Lioness came from the tragic results of the Calais bombing, something she survived while serving as a medical resident in France.  COEM's pull over a significant number of Eastern European women, most notably the ones responsible for the car bomb and shooting attacks in Calais, distressed her greatly.  With her great-grandmother a survivor of Nazi camps, simply for being Slavic, and the lessons imparted by her German POW great-grandfather, Ruta seeks to redeem her Polish sisters by showing the ranks that Poland itself seeks peace and order.  Serving her term in the Polish Army, she was quickly recruited by Task Force Lioness to serve as Pride Three's medic.  A joker and unabashed comic geek, the latter of which earned her the moniker of Colossus despite his Russian roots, she nevertheless takes her medical duties very seriously as demonstrated during her care of Pride Three leader Julie Ellis and Cub Cat Summers.  All eyes and ears are on her when it's time to dish out the medical expertise.  All in all, Ruta enjoys what she does and while it saddens her to have to sometimes kill her Polish sisters, she knows in the end what she's doing is simply righting the wrongs committed in the past.

• Demo: Lance Corporal Jenny "Boom Boom" Ling (UK) - British Army, 23 Royal Parachute Engineer Regiment.

Age: 22.
The child of Chinese immigrants, Jenny was born and raised in Newcastle, where she experienced a certain amount of racial tension all her life.  Despite this, she always considered herself more Geordie than Chinese, joining the British army to help defend the country she considered home.
A talented chemist with a passion for "stuff that goes boom", Jenny was posted to the Royal Engineers, with whom she served a tour in Afghanistan.  While there she defused or destroyed several IEDs with a calm detachment that impressed her superiors.  A visiting UNATA official scouted her, and she agreed to join Den One.  While at HQ, she quickly developed a rather strange friendship with her fellow new recruit, Ruta Czajkowski.  From the outside, this friendship seems to be based entirely upon insults and borderline racist banter, but it was strong enough for her to request to join Ruta in Pride Three.
She takes her work, and her reputation in the Den extremely seriously, for which the ever irreverent Ruta often teases her.  Despite her rather placid nature, she has a quick temper, especially when mocked about her height.

• Intelligence / Mission Handler: ми́чман (Ensign) Irina "Oracle" Barinov (Russian Federation) Russian Navy, Black Sea Fleet.

Age: 24.
Irina served in the same fleet as Den One intel officer Ekaterina "Frosty" Volkova, and like many of her peers looked up to the older woman, though they never met.  One day she discovered a UNATA asset code-named "Valiant" that had just been closed down.  Realising that Valiant had been a single person with no official backing impressed her greatly, and she decided that, with proper backing, a small group of operatives could do serious damage to COEM from within.  She told her superiors that Valiant should be re-established, and, still reeling from the recent defection of so many Russian soldiers to the COEM in the recent kidnapping of a UNATA official, (Snatch and Grab, Part 1) they readily agreed.  Several months later, in deep cover, she was captured by Julie Ellis and Cat Summers.
Upon realising that she had just met Valiant in person, Irina requested a transfer to the Lioness program, she also wished to work with her idol, "Frosty" Volkova, not to mention exploring her relationship with Cat Summers.
Her genius level intellect and near eidetic memory, as well as her natural talent for organisational logistics, means Irina is most useful at her computers, giving advice and instruction to her friends in the field, but her military training means she is just as deadly with a firearm as any of her colleagues if she is called upon to physically join the fight.

• The Valiant Network.

Originally three Russian operatives who infiltrated the COEM to spy and undermine the group from within, Irina's network has grown quickly.  With Irina's capture by the Lionesses, the group now stands at two operatives, and dozens of assets recruited from those who realised they don't fully agree with the groups ideals after all, or simply wish to atone for their part in past atrocities.  These women are scattered all over Europe, in constant danger from discovery by their fanatical "sisters".  While Irina has little reason to share her Pride Leader's pity toward the COEM in general, she is very protective of those who decide to help her network, and will aid them however she can.
The network has already provided useful leads, allowing the Den to prevent several COEM attacks, including the would-be Spring Break massacre in Mexico.

• CPL Avelene Michel (France) - Civilian contractor.  Formerly 1^er Régiment de Chasseurs Parachutistes.

Age: 26.
Part of the last remnant of the COEM cell in Montpellier, Aveline was captured by Cat, Louisa, Sandra Decker, and Choi Ju-Min, after the four of them were kidnapped during a night out.  She "caught the eye" of Sandra and Ju-Min during her initial interrogation.  They were surprised by her war record, as she had been commended for valor and heroism several times during her tours of duty, before being medically discharged with PTSD.  This was triggered when an IED killed several of her friends but missed her completely, despite her standing only inches away from them.  When offered a deal for less prison time, she refused, insisting that she be punished for her foolish actions.
Jules agreed with Decker that she showed promise, and arranged a probation for her, offering Aveline a more practical way to redeem herself, running security for the Valiant network for Irina.
While technically not part of P3, Julie considers her part of the team, and will fight as hard for her as anyone else under her command.
