INTERLUDE: THE HIT LIST

Members of the Cartel has discovered that American bookkeeper, Claude Boggan has been skimming. Over the past few years he has amassed a personal fortune of $5 million most of it in off shore accounts and laundered by other unscrupulous friends and family members.

The Cartel has decided on a different approach: they will eliminate the people closest to him. Contacting Kitty Murillo of the Damas de las Noches, they make her an offer: they will pay her $100,000 “per head” of members of Boggs family who they want eliminated.

Kitty calls in her BFF, Cubana Gloria Perez to help her with the list. Finally, she receives the list:

1. Brother Jeremy Boggs and his swinging trophy wife, Wendy
2. College age daughters: Lisa aged 21 and Leigh aged 19. Lisa attends SMU while Leigh attends Baylor both universities located in Texas...
3. . Favorite niece, Willi Jennings located in California.

Kitty and Gloria decide that Kitty will have to take care of Jeremy and Wendy while vacationing in Cabo. Since Kitty cannot chance coming to the USA Gloria will have to take out the other three…

PROLOGUE Luz is Approached in the Parking LotPROLOGUE
Luz is approached in the parking lot after work. She is approached by a man with a heavy Scottish accent who points to his companion who pulls a gun on her. She is led to awaiting stretch SUV. Luz sits next to a burly man as one of the other two sit in beside her pinning her. The burly man pulls a switch blade which he sticks in her side. Given no choice she has to go along.
“I have to be home to meet my children,” Luz says. “What are you doing? Where are you takin me?”

Debi, stared down at Alicia’s body. The instructions given to her by “Hera” were very clear. Strip, remove all jewelry and dump the body. While waiting for Ace and Damon to return, Debi decided to get started.
Rolling Alicia over on her back she looked at the pretty face. Her eyes closed, her mouth slightly opened. No sign of the surprise or shock (and pain) the unfortunate Alicia had felt when Debi’s knife struck her in the upper back, near the base of the skull. The couple who dispatched Robin had assumed that Luz, half naked and lying in a pool of piss was dead. The crime investigative units not finding the second body at the scene did collect some DNA samples from Luz’s blood droppings and her urine…

Luz has made enemies in high places and the information is kept secret and shared with some circles. They quickly deduce that the unknown woman at the scene was the Red Punisher. They are able to identify her and put investigators to finally locate her.

In a few days, they know all about her. Where she works, her children’s names, ages and schools they are enrolled in. They put a tail on her and observe her for a few days before they finally decide to make their move.
