BOPHA NAKPAZ, 42 Years old
Born in Cambodia, she moved to Singapore with her British husband in the 1990’s. they had two sons and her husband has spent time traveling and conducting his software business abroad. The sons are both always at college and Bopha takes on an 18-year old Filipino girl as a housekeeper.
One day she came home to find her husband in bed with the young housekeeper. Bopha waited until her husband was gone to work and she then stabbed the young girl to death. Autopsy revealed that the girl had been stabbed over 40 times and when the police arrived, Bopha was sitting in the den sm0king a cigarette.
It took the court only 15 minutes to find her guilty and her sentence: Death by Hanging.

JASPINA ASBAEK, 22 years old
Born in Denmark and studying in Singapore, Jaspina is a large young woman, standing 5;8 and weighting 175 pounds. With a large neck and heavy breasts and with thick thighs and a wide butt, she has always had trouble finding a steady boyfriend. During spring break, he takes up with a Pakistani exchange student. After a weekend of partying the group proceed to take the party back to his hotel. Jaspina is charged with carrying he stash of cocaine and hash.  She is stopped by police and arrested.
Because of the quantity of drugs, she is charged with trafficking and promptly tried and sentence. Death by Hanging

LOLA LE 31 years old
Lola was born in Hanoi Viet Nam and emigrate to Singapore when she was a child. As she grew up she fell into prostitution and eventually joined a ruthless gang that specialized in drug running and prostitution. Lola’s job as a tough enforcer to keep the girls and runners in line. While teaching a couple of runners a lesson with two of her male associates the discipline went too far and the runners died because of the beatings.  Lola and her male accomplices are tried and sentenced: Death by Hanging.
The two men received a stay and have their executions postponed by one week but Lola goes to the gallows on this day.


As the women are marched to the execution chamber with their hands cuffed behind them and wearing   their orange prison coveralls, Jaspina as the youngest and feeling the most wronged walks at a low shaky shuffle.  She is practically sobbing when the guards tie the strap tightly around her ankles and just above her knees. Jaspina lets out a moan as the hood is placed over her head and she sobs more as the noose is adjusted.
 Bopha as the oldest seems the bravest and she has no fear facing justice. She feels that the maid deserved it and she accepts her faith. Her sons are in college and she only regrets that she will not live to see any grandchildren. Nevertheless, she holds her head high as she is walked to the waiting noose. The guards place a black hood over her head and the executioner adjusts the noose around her neck pulling it tight. The attendant

As they strap the leather belt about her knees and ankles, Lola is disgusted with Jaspina’s loss of courage and dignity. “If my legs were free, I’d kick the stupid bitch right in the twat!” she says to herself.  “What a pitiful cow to die with.” She utters these words to the guards in their native language.
“Can you shut her up? She’s starting to get on my nerves.”
“You won’t have to listen to her much longer.” The head guard says as he places the black hood over her head.

Bopha stands firm and straight; Jaspina mumbles a prayer in her native Danish; Lola listens to the footfalls as the guards step back and the sound of the executioner as he walks over and released the safety pin on the lever. Lola hears the sound when the lever is pushed forward and the trap door flies open.

The three women all drop five feet, a standard rather than a measured drop.  The bodies drop to the sound of the trap door slamming against the gallows then the bodies all jerk at the end of the rope.

Botha’s neck is quickly broken and she is rendered unconscious. She does not move or kick or twitch. It takes her two minutes to die…her bladder releases a stream of yellow urine that stains her cotton underwear and runs down her leg puddling beneath the still body.

The guards and executioner has worried that Jaspina’s weight would be too much for the five foot drop and she could be decapitated. That would be most unfortunate and they would all lose their jobs in that event, however to their relief, Jaspina’s body jerks at the end of the rope. Her thick neck does not break and she is left to struggle and twitch. Gagging sounds come from under the hood that covers her fat face.  The large Dane struggles and gasps for a full and agonizing ten minutes. After a few involuntary twitches, her bladder releases and a stream of urine pools under her body which finally hangs twisting on the rope…

Lola senses the whole thing. The painful jerk at the end of the drop and like Bopha her thin neck is broken as efficiently as possible.  Lola dies instantly and she now hangs there twisting on the rope while Jaspina’s struggles continue.  

After Jaspina’s struggles stop, the bodies are left hanging for approximately 20 minutes. Then several guards come forward and with two on each body they remove the handcuffs then the leather straps that bind the legs.
With her arms dangling by her side, the guard take out scissors and cut away her top exposing her upper body and her small firm breasts. They then pull her urine stained pants and panties off leaving her completely naked. Her neck still hanging by the noose and the black hood covering her face. The doctor comes forward and taking out a stethoscope he checks for a heartbeat between her firm breasts. Marking the time, he steps to the next body, Jaspina.

Careful not to step in the puddle of urine, the men have cut off her top and yanked down her pants and panties as well. The doctor places the instrument between her heavy breasts, the heavy breasts hanging lifeless, the nipples looking pinkish. Finding no heartbeat, he nods and writes down the time then he proceeds to Lola…

The guards have just removed her straps and cut off her top. They now pull her pants down to reveal that she is not wearing nay underwear. Never the less the doctor proceeds with his examination of the dead woman.

With the condemned all declared dead and the sentences carried out the doctor leaves as two guards turn on a water hose and hose down the hanging bodies.
They spray water on the dead women washing the corpses down. Being sure to part their legs and wash down the inside of the thighs. The water runs down the bodies and through a drain in the floor. After several minutes of this ritual, the water is turned off.
Jaspina hangs there the hood still covering her face and the rope still around the neck, the water beading on her naked chest, in her brown pubic hair below her fat gut.
Lola and Bopha hang just as well their bodies dripping drops of water.  The chamber is locked up and the air turned on to allow the bodies to dry.
After an hour, the attendants bring in gurneys and each body is taken down, the nooses removed as well as the black hoods. Each woman is gently lad down on a gurney, their necks stretched to one and a half their normal sizes.
Lola and Bopha looked peaceful, eyes closed and mouths slightly opened. Jaspina however shows the wide-eyed expression, tongue protruding from the mouth after death by slow strangulation. Her face is a purple-blue and her lips have turned blue.  The other women look peaceful save for the elongated necks.
The bodies are sent to the morgue until family members claim them. Bopha is cremated and her family give her a proper burial.  The sons do not speak to their father at the services. Jaspina's family requests that her organs be donated. After the organs are removed and her brain sent to the medicals college for study, she is shipped home to Denmark.
Lola’s family had long disowned her and wanted nothing to do with her dishonored remains. The state them cremates her and her ashes are taken out to sea and scattered.
