Sitting in the center of the glade, Jedi Knight Wranyaz let her mind consider everything that had happened. It had been so many years since she had last been here, to this place, where it all began. She'd been found here on Dantooine what seemed a lifetime ago by Master Plo Koon and brought into an order she hadn't realized she was qualified to be a part of. What had followed was a whirlwind life of training, preparation and evaluation before she'd been deemed ready to proceed.
Then had followed the taskings, the endless meditation and ultimately the—for lack of a better word—jobs that she'd been dispatched on in the service of the Jedi Order and the Republic. With all of that it had almost been a relief when the Clone Wars had begun. It had given her a sense of purpose and a release for everything that had been roiling within her. She had fought well and done everything that had been asked of her and then...betrayal.
The very men that she had led into battle so many times, over and over again into the meat grinder of whatever odds they were pitted against, had stopped and turned their weapons on her. She'd descended into a black rage, killing former ally and foe alike without remorse until she'd finally escaped and hid herself here, on Dantooine, where it had all begun so many years ago. She needed time, she needed rest and she hoped the galaxy would allow her both. A subtle shifting in the flow of the Force around her told Wranyaz that wasn't likely to happen as the sound of boots reached her ears.
Even in this place, as isolated as it was, was not safe from the gaze of the Empire it seemed. Standing, Wranyaz called one of her saberstaffs to her hand and ignited the blue blades.
“Surrender!” someone shouted as Wranyaz channeled the Force into herself and expelled it in a powerful wave that threw the squad of white clad troopers off their feet.
She was in motion before they had a chance to land led alone recover from her attack as she moved swiftly among them. Blue energy sabers slashed through pristine white armor as the occasional whine of a blaster bolt echoed amongst the threes. Moments passed, blending into one another and bleeding into eternity as Wranyaz slaughtered the beings that had been sent after her. She was tired of killing, tired of running, but what choice did she have?
Surrender herself to the Force? That hardly seemed ideal and was not something her mind found acceptable and so it was that she found herself standing amidst the bodies of the troopers wondering what possible future existed amidst all this death. Turning her head towards the sky she let out a breath. Somewhere, out there amidst the Stars, the answers had to be found. The Force was her guide and her will, she'd go where it took her.
Something inspired by the birthday gift that BornAngelAuthor gave me this past summer.

It was quite an interesting and rather epic piece though I admit my own rendition of it is rather brief I hope everyone enjoys it.
